Kevin Banatte

Kevin Banatte is a creative artist & digital strategist who fights for the preservation, joy, potential, & power of all BLACK people. He is a Founder & Co-Director of BLACK. Kevin also serves as the Creative Campaign Specialist at the American Federation of Labor & Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO).  From 2007 to 2012, He attended Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, studied Black Psychology and did strategic digital communications & art with the Dream Defenders, a racial justice organization based in Florida.

Amber J. Phillips

Amber J. Phillips is a social justice organizer & digital strategist who works to advance the rights of women, young people, people of color, & low-income communities. In addition to being a Founder & Co-Director of BLACK, Amber is the co-host of The Black Joy Mixtape produced by BLACK. Amber also serves as the Senior Manager of Youth Leadership & Mobilization at Advocates for Youth. She proudly serves on the Board of Directors of SisterSong: Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective & is a writer with Echoing Ida.
